The history of India carries with it many buildings, towers and ancient heritage, which is a great tourist destination for all of us in today's time, as well as a sample of stunning workmanship. In a year, crores of foreign tourists come to India to know these buildings and the history of India.The Qutub Minar in Delhi is the world's largest brick tower at 120 meters high and is the second largest tower in India after Fateh Burj in Mohali. The history of Qutub Minar has been going on since ancient times. The adjoining campus of Qutub Minar is surrounded by Qutub Complex, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Qutub Minar is situated in Mehrauli part of Delhi. This tower is made of red stone and marble



The construction of Qutub Minar was started by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in 1193 but it is said that he could build only one building after which the other 3 buildings were built by Iltutmish,
the Sultan of Delhi. While other buildings were completed in 1368 by Ferozeshah.

    Tourists keep visiting the Qutub Minar all through the year, and the fair is like the Mahol, but since the mercury reaches 45 degrees in the summer in Delhi, it would be better if you are in the winter months i.e.

Other places of interest in the Qutub Minar complex are the Iron Pillar, Alai-Darwaza, Iltutmish's Tomb, Alai Minar, Imam Jamin's Tomb, Ala-ud-din Madrasa and Qawwat-ul-Islam Mosque.
